Where in the Kingdom is your motorcycle headed? That question shapes everything about bike shipping Saudi — a crate delivered to a villa compound in Riyadh's Al Malqa is a different job from one bound for a Harley dealer in Al Khobar or a track garage near Jeddah's corniche. We crate every machine in Dubai and coordinate the receiving end street by street.
The crate is the whole game
A motorcycle cannot be palletised like boxes or strapped like a car — it wants to fall over, and its most expensive surfaces (tank, fairings, exhausst headers) face outward. So every machine we move gets a made-to-measure timber crate built around it in our Dubai facility: front wheel chocked, forks compressed and strapped, frame braced at the triple clamp and swingarm, mirrors and windscreen removed and wrapped separately.
Fuel is drained to near-empty, the battery disconnected, and soft padding placed anywhere timber could meet paint. Crated this way, a bike survives forklift handling, border inspection, and the long haul across the Al Batha crossing without a scuff.
Which Saudi cities do riders ship to?
The destination decides the final-mile plan, and Saudi cities each have their quirks:
| Destination | What delivery usually looks like |
|---|---|
| Riyadh | Villa compounds in Al Malqa, Hittin, Al Yasmin — gate access arranged with security in advance |
| Jeddah | Apartment districts near the corniche; kerbside uncrating is common where lifts cannot take a crate |
| Dammam / Al Khobar | Dealer and workshop deliveries around the auto district; dock offload available |
| Smaller cities | Buraidah, Tabuk, Abha — add a day or two of onward trucking to the schedule |
Tell us the district, not just the city. Compound gates, basement parking, and narrow streets change which vehicle we send for the last kilometre.
How does handover work at the destination?
Your receiver — you after your flight, a friend, or a dealer — gets a call from our Saudi delivery partner a day before arrival to fix a window. At handover the crate is opened, the bike checked against the photos taken in Dubai, and the timber taken away unless you want to keep it for a future move. If nobody can be present, we can deliver to a workshop of your choice and send you the uncrating video instead.
Practical tip: nominate a receiver with a Saudi mobile number even if you will be there yourself. Delivery crews confirm slots by local phone call, and an unreachable +971 number is the most common cause of a rescheduled drop.
What riders send along with the machine
The crate rarely travels alone. Most bookings add a second box of riding life:
- Helmets, boots, and leathers packed in their own carton
- Spare levers, sprockets, and consumables for models scarce in KSA
- Paddock stands and tail bags strapped inside the crate's free corners
- Toolkits and tyre warmers for track-day riders heading to Saudi circuits
- Original sales documents kept with the customs file, never inside the crate
Gear travelling with the bike clears on the same file, which is cheaper and simpler than sending it separately by courier later.
Why route knowledge at the receiving end matters
District-level planning
Delivery crews who know Riyadh compounds, Jeddah towers, and Eastern Province workshop streets.
Uncrating on arrival
Crate opened, bike inspected with the receiver, packaging removed — not dumped at the kerb.
Local-language coordination
Arabic-speaking coordinators call the receiver, the compound gate, and the workshop as needed.
The road leg itself runs on the standard GCC rhythm — three to seven working days from collection for most consignments — but the difference between a smooth delivery and a frustrating one is almost always decided in the last ten kilometres. That is where we put the coordination effort.
Registration and the paper side, briefly
A motorcycle exports from the UAE with its registration card, owner ID, and an export certificate we arrange; a financed machine needs the bank's release letter first. On the Saudi side, duty and VAT apply on the declared value, and the receiver handles local registration once cleared. New-in-crate bikes from dealers ship on a commercial invoice instead. We map your exact document list during booking so the crate never waits on paper.

"My Ducati went from JLT to a compound in Al Malqa, Riyadh. The crew had already cleared access with compound security, uncrated it in the parking bay, and took the timber away. Faultless."
Sportbike owner relocating Dubai → Riyadh"I ordered a customer's Road King delivered straight to my workshop in Al Khobar. Crate arrived braced exactly as the photos showed, and the coordinator called me in Arabic the day before. Easy business."
Motorcycle workshop owner, Al Khobar"Two dirt bikes and a box of spares to Tabuk for the riding season. Took the extra onward-trucking day they warned me about, but tracking updates kept me relaxed the whole way."

Can I ship just one motorcycle, or something even smaller?
Yes — a single crated bike is our standard job, not a minimum-load problem. Crates share trailer space with other freight, so you pay for your machine's footprint. We also carry gear-only cartons and single parts boxes if the bike itself is staying put.
What are the booking and payment steps?
Send the model and destination district for a written price. Approve it, and we schedule crating — usually within two working days. A deposit confirms the slot; the balance falls due before Saudi delivery. Transfers and card payments both work, and the quote lists every charge upfront.
How long until the bike reaches its Saudi address?
Plan on three to seven working days from crate collection to doorstep for the main cities. Riyadh and the Eastern Province usually land mid-window; Jeddah and smaller inland cities such as Abha or Tabuk sit toward the later end because of the onward road leg.
Do I need to prepare the bike before crating?
Ride it to near-empty fuel, remove personal items from panniers, and have the key and documents ready — our crew handles the rest, including battery disconnection, fork strapping, and removal of mirrors or screens. If you have the original dealer crate, tell us; reusing it can trim the packing cost.
How do I follow the shipment?
You get photos when the crate closes in Dubai, a WhatsApp update at the border crossing, and a delivery-window call to your receiver the day before arrival. Any time in between, message +971 58 936 0016 and the coordinator replies with the current position.
